Sketch the composition loosely. Apply a wash of

Lemon (aureolin) yellow and cadmium red. While still

wet remove circle sun with tissue.

 Add background maountains in same tones, adding

more paint at the tops

 Use the same colours for the lake without painting

the same colour all over. Dry

 Using 2 pies of paper, CLEAN water and a sponge, with

one stroke wipe between the paper edges.

 Soften the edges of this paler area with horizontal

strokes. Add darker colour in the sky by mixing in

cadmium red + paynes grey
