Choose colours cobalt blue, raw sienna, burnt sienna and neutral tint (or paynes grey which has a little more blue) very small amount of burnt sienna + White gouache. Note the sand is black.

Wet middle third of paper - drop in Ultra + lemon yellow and quinarindon pink for the trees - make sure to keep the edges light you don't want strong shapes at this stage

Add more Ultramarine to the green to paint in the cypruses. Use a rigger on the edges of the trees | ||

| Paint windows in the house - don't forget shadows will be at the top. Add the large pine tree at the back using rough dry-brush strokes (thick paint sroke the brush horizontally over the paper) Add in the branches with a rigger |
