Sketch the flower. Pansies have 5 petals

sometimes they fold over

Paint on dry paper with red + yellow allowing paint

to mix on the paper

 Leave a little white space beweeen the petals

but avoid 4 white stripes

Paint over the curled petal - we will add another

darker layer on top

To finish the flower add a darker red under the

folded petal for a shadow. Paint in the centre and

some very fine lines on the petals - use a rigger

to make them as fine as possible and not too regular
